Continuous learning is an essential part of growth and development for both individuals and societies. At Seva Mandir, we have a dedicated team that focuses on building the knowledge and skills of our staff.
Given Seva Mandir’s rich experience in grass-roots work, many individuals, student groups, NGOs and corporate organisations approach us to acquire first-hand exposure to our work.
In the past, we have conducted training and exposure visits for external parties on a variety of themes including mobilisation of communities, forming community-based collectives such as women’s Self-Help Groups, gender sensitisation, proposal writing and fundraising, amongst others.
Seva Mandir also caters to requests from corporates to send their staff as volunteers. In order to accommodate the interests and availability of corporates and their staff, semi-structured modules covering field exposure and some classroom exercises are prepared which can be tailor-made as needed. This experience can offer valuable experience and help make volunteers aware of the needs of rural communities.
