   International Development: Field training series

Work in the field is the beating heart of the International Development sector. Village level implementations of development programs are at the end of a long chain of people and institutions and academic thinking. This course is offers a window into the field level implementation of projects and the unique challenges it offers.

  • Grassroot realities: an insight into program design
  • Introduction to delivery structures for programs
  • Stay with host families in the assigned village
  • Conduct program evaluations
  • Develop Village Report
  • Moderated group discussions
  • A unique window into cultural context

  • Students of Development studies
  • Policy makers and program staff from funding agencies
  • Skilled professionals interested in making a difference (Doctors, Journalists, Environmental engineers)

 Cost:

In country USD 500 (INR 24000)

- 5%  discount for early registrations (more than 30 days before start of training)

- 10% discount for students (can be combined with above for a total of 15%)

 The package includes accommodations, meals, travel and course materials during the duration of the course. The participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements for arriving in Udaipur.
