ICCO
and Kerk in Actie is the interchurch organisation
for development cooperation. Their mission
is to work towards a world in which people
live in dignity and prosperity, a world
where poverty and injustice are no longer
present. They have been with Seva Mandir
for more than two decades.
Plan,
in some countries known as Foster Parents
Plan, is a child-centred development charity,
and works in 49 countries to provide programs
to over 1.5 million children and their families.
They too have been with us for nearly 10
years and have been institutional partners
since the year 2005.
The
National Environment Awareness Campaign
(NEAC) is organised by the Ministry of Environment
& Forests every year since 1986 with
the objective of creating environmental
awareness at the national level.
Seva Mandir has been a nodal NGO for this
programme for more than a decade. We act
as a link between NEAC and grassroots NGOs
working in the area, facilitating grant
proposals reaching the NEAC and funds that
come back to the grassroots.
Asha
for Education is a secular organization
dedicated to change in India by focusing
on basic education in the belief that education
is a critical requisite for socio-economic
change.
Partners since 2007, Asha support our education
programmes in Badgaon block.
Edukans
Foundation supports educational projects
in favour of underprivileged children and
youngsters in developing countries including
India. Since 2007, they have been supporting
our education programmes in all blocks (except
Badgaon).
This
foundation is a major grant-making private
foundation based in Chicago that has awarded
more than US$4 billion since its inception
in 1978.
Since 2002, they have been mainly supporting
our health programme.
The
Trust aims to help improve the lives of
disadvantaged women and children in Asia
through education, healthcare and income
generation projects.
Since 2006, the trust has supported immunization,
provided materials for Balwadis and executed
a pilot education project in Kotra on migration
of children.
The
National Foundation for India (NFI) is an
autonomous, professionally managed trust
that works for the disadvantaged communities
to help them improve their own lives.
With Seva Mandir, they have been involved
in Delwara (urban block). They also act
as a facilitator for the grants that we
receive from the R.D. Tata Trust.
Another
very old partner organization, this trust
has been with us for more than 20 years.
They have been involved in drought relief
and also adding to our Corpus Fund.
Target
International which has stores in the USA
under its CSR, have been giving 5% of their
income to organizations that support education
units and social services since 1946. Today
they give more than $3 million each week
and hundreds of volunteer hours in communities
around the world.
They have supported residential learning
camps in the past. In 2009 they are supporting
Balwadis and a new initiative on girls’
literacy.
The
Paul Hamlyn Foundation is one of the larger
independent
grant-making foundations in the UK. They
prefer to support work which others may
find hard to fund, perhaps because it breaks
new ground, is too risky or is unpopular.
Seva
Mandir has had a 10 year long relationship
with the Give Foundation. Through their
website, we have been able to raise funds
for nearly all our programs.
The
Ford Foundation is a private foundation
that makes grants for projects that focused
on strengthening democratic values, community
and economic development, education, media,
arts and culture, and human rights.the Ford
foundation has supported forestry, agriculture
and recently the Gram Vikas Funds. They
have also granted heartedly to our Corpus
Fund.
The
purpose of the foundation is to fund projects
that integrate the disciplines of medicine,
public health, the social sciences and law
to foster innovative approaches for the
promotion of health and well-being and the
reduction of disease and suffering.
For nearly the past 5 years, this American
foundation has supported our education programmes.
The
Charities Aid Foundation is a registered
charity that works to create greater value
for charities and social enterprise.
They have been supporting setups of Roof
top rain water harvesting structures in
Delwara.
CAPART
is an autonomous body registered under the
Societies Registration Act 1860,and is functioning
under the aegis of the Ministry of Rural
Development, Government of India. Today,
this agency is a major promoter of rural
development in India, assisting over 12,000
voluntary organizations across the country
in implementing a wide range of development
initiatives.
Investing
in the community is an important part of
Barclays Capital’s global citizenship
strategy. In addition to donating funds
to charities, they encourage employee volunteering
amongst our staff globally, and in particular
skills-related volunteering.
They have started supporting the Seasonal
Residential Learning Camps of Seva Mandir
in 2009.
